Margrét was part of the group exhibition, Literally – Concrete Poetry in Iceland from 1957 to the Present Day, that opened in Hafnarborg museum on March 25th. Other artists in the exhibition included Magnús Pálsson, Sigurður Guðmundsson, Kristján Guðmundsson, Ásta Fanney Sigurðardóttir, Haraldur Jónsson, Guðbergur Bergsson and more.
NO TOMORROW
A guitar ballet by Margrét Bjarnadóttir and Ragnar Kjartansson with original score by Bryce Dessner will premiere at Reykjavík City Theatre on March 16th. It premieres along with other performance pieces and video works in an event called Sacrifice hosted by the Iceland Dance Company. Other artists involved in Sacrifice include Matthew Barney, Erna Ómarsdóttir, Valdimar Jóhannsson and Gabríela Friðriksdóttir. Check the IDC website for international touring dates.
BLÆTI /// FETISH
Margrét is on the inaugural cover of BLÆTI (Fetish) – a 400+ page hardcover magazine full of art, fashion, poetry etc. Inside is also a 20 page feature - a dialogue between Margrét and artist Haraldur Jónsson.

The Oath by Baltasar Kormákur will premiere at Toronto International Film Festival in September.
Margrét´s first acting role in a feature film.
